Bill Krause

Bill has over 40-years of hvac industry mechanical and controls experience. 

While in the US Navy, Bill graduated from the electronics training program and worked as an electronics and communications specialist in parts of Asia and Europe during the Viet Nam War. After his military experience Bill started in the hvac industry working as a mechanical and controls service technician. Among his areas of mechanical expertise is working on industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. His electronics and computer experience lead him to specialize in direct digital controls. Bill has been the lead engineer, programmer and project manager on many of the most sophisticated, energy efficient and award winning Delta Building Technology client projects such as Loyola University’s Institute for Environmental Studies (IES) and the Quinlan School of Business. Both national award winning projects incorporate ground source heat pumps, motorized windows and a natural ventilation operating mode.
